Installing WordPress for the first time can seem like a daunting task, but its fairly simple and straightforward if you understand all of the tech mumbo jumbo.
Here is a basic WordPress installation guide:
Download and unzip the WordPress
You will need to download WordPress from its repository.
Create a Database
Create a new Database & User in your cPanel/Hosting, make sure the settings are difficult to guess.
Keep a copy of your database name, username, and password.
Upload the WordPress files to your root folder. You can do this using FTP or File Manager in your hosting provider.
Root folder means your primary folder directory.
Run the Install
Go to the website you are trying to install WordPress on. You should see a setup guide.
Troubleshooting: If you don’t see a WordPress setup page, you might have forgotten to point the DNS to the Domain name, or you placed the files in the wrong folder.
